I know I should be working on commissions right now but because the day of St Nicolas is drawing near I had to finish this one first. It's a little gift for my beloved fox. :)
I know that he's never looking at my galleries (he always expects that I show him the original) that's why I decided to upload this piece before the 6.12.
So, as you can already see it's a simple wild life drawing of an arctic fox. O.k, it's my first wild life picture ever and I usually don't draw non anthropomorphic animals, so it was not that simple for me to do. X)
I drew this one without any references so there might be "some" mistakes but I'm still quite happy with it regarding the fact that it was my first time in a lot of aspects. The scan is quite crappy 'cause you can't see the texture (Stones!) of the brown ground and some other details ... :/
Anyways, I hope you like it. :)

Kudos to you for celebrating St Nicolas day.
The picture's nice, and certainly not bad for a no-references-first-wild-life-picture-ever! I like the eyes, the visible paw, and (believe it or not) the exposed earth under the snow and scraps of vegetation placed here and there. It's a great detail that makes it much more real to me. Too bad the scan apparently messed that up.

Thank you very much! :) Well, before I drew the scraps of vegetation "here and there" I thought that there was something missing. So I thought it would be a nice idea to make it look it a bit real ...
But yeah, I don't like the scan as well. I think it's always best if you can see the original piece in real life. :)
